EOTO

Anybody who hasn’t seen EOTO must catch this set. The Boulder, Colorado duo of Michael Travis and Jason Hann has been a staple of the electronic festival scene since their inception as a String Cheese Incident side project in 2006. If anyone tells you that electronic music is all repetitive noises that anybody could create, force them to listen to EOTO. The band’s sheer dedication fuels them to perpetually push not only their boundaries as artists, but also those of electronic music as a genre. EOTO’s sound takes an artistic approach to the modern-day dubstep wobble by integrating it into a variety of soundscapes that range from ethereal dreamscapes to alien invasions complete with sludge metal bass and buzz-saw backbeats. With live looping and a team of VJs using the sounds to trigger visual events, this show will have you seeing electronic music in a whole new light.
