Hospitality

Brooklyn indie-pop trio Hospitality have made an outsized splash with just one album and EP. With vocals from lead singer Amber Papini, their softer acoustic side draws on artists like Kimya Dawson and Devendra Banhart while retaining an all-encompassing, all-original sound. The band also likes to showcase its louder side, capturing the energy of bands like Matt & Kim while maintaining the ability to write complex pop songs with multiple sections and infinitely catchy sounds. Simply put, Hospitality is not a band to miss for those who appreciate hospitable music. (Appearing with Wild Flag at Metro on April 5) –text: Ian Jones
