Scissor Sisters

So you’re one of 2006′s greatest hits, you’ve worked with Elton John and Kylie Minogue, you made it to the very top of the Billboard, and even had Bono praise your shit. What now? Well, if you’re New York-based glam outfit Scissor Sisters, the answer is obvious: recruit the guy behind RiRi’s chart-topping monster “We Found Love,” and bring on buzzing hitmaker Azealia “212” Banks while you’re at it. Magic Hour, the latest from Scissor Sisters, doesn’t stray too far from the winning formula that placed them atop of public consciousness five years ago. Any why should it? With songs about drag, the dancefloor and the occasional song about wearing drag on the dancefloor, Scissor Sisters are probably the catchiest LGBT-aligned dance group this side of Lady Gaga.
