Hurdling up the musical ranks with their catchy song-of-the-summer track “Anna Sun” back in 2011, indie rock group Walk The Moon found their place among that same danceable, carefree theme. The band has two studio albums, their most recent being Talking Is Hard, which channels their pleasant synths and upbeat sound into another sunny experience. “Shut Up And Dance”, the first single off the album, clearly exemplifies this feeling by reminding the listener of a young, late-night whirlwind romance. In keeping with the tone of youth and fleeting love, Walk The Moon is a band whose positive lyrics allow you to have fun at a live show rather than an existential crisis.
