This Aussie septet of psychedelic Svengalis began playing rudimentary ‘60s-styled acid rock in 2011. And ever since then, they’ve been releasing records at a remarkable pace. The rapid-fire release cycle began with their 2012 debut 12 Bar Bruise, which they followed up five months later with Eyes Like the Sky and Float Along, Fill Your Lungs following shortly after. In the following years, the releases slowed slightly and became more tightly knit experiments focusing more on a heavier sound. These efforts have borne fruit with their most focused and truly experimental work to date, last year’s Nonagon Infinity, which garnered the band comparisons to legendary rock weirdo Frank Zappa.
