Chicago will showcase a little #rattnroll this summer. That’s right, Ratt is touring select dates plus six festivals this summer including the legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip Rally. And for you hair band devotees, this is the Ratt configuration featuring original bassist Juan Croucier, renowned guitar hero Warren DeMartini and the return of a fully sober Stephen Pearcy on vocals. (Not the bootleg Bobby Blotzer’s Ratt Experience featuring only one original member, the drummer.) Anyway, Bobby legally lost the right to perform under the moniker Ratt in the court system so no more confusion there. Ratt is sure to perform new material but rest assured “Lay It Down” and “Back For More” will be on the setlist along with MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball staple “Round And Round” (yeah, the one with Milton Berle in drag). A good night for hair metal nostalgia at the very least.
