Normally it’s country or rock music you associate with Nashville, not booming electronica. Yet the fact that hit electronic group Basecamp hails from Music City is not quite as unexpected as is Basecamp being a band in the first place. They had never intended on being a music group at all, instead only planning on writing songs for TV and movies to earn some quick extra cash. Yet apparently their clients liked what they heard in the band’s multiple styles of music, as they were an industrial rock band, rap/rock band, and punk rock band before becoming music producers. With all the different sounds brimming from their expansive toolbox, they seem to be pleasing just about everyone.
