Pitchfork Music Fest Announces 2017 Lineup
The 12th annual Pitchfork Music Festival, taking place July 14-16 in Union Park, has announced its 2017 lineup. Friday acts include LCD Soundsystem, Dirty Projectors, Danny Brown, Thurston Moore, and Vince Staples. Saturday artists include A Tribe Called Quest, PJ Harvey, Angel Olsen, George Clinton, Madlib, and Arab Strap. Sunday acts include Solange, Nicolas Jaar, Ride, American Football, Isaiah Rashad, Hamilton Leithauser, Jamila Woods, Derrick Carter, and Joey Purp. This year will also feature a special event series curated by Solange’s label/art platform Saint Heron, including an onsite art installation, film screening, artist talks, and late-night jazz jam sessions taking place at various locations throughout Chicago during the festival. Festival tickets are available for $75 a day or $175 for a three-day pass.
