If “Stranger Things” got you back into analog synthesizers, take your ass straight down to Empty Bottle and check in with ADULT. (or check them out at this year’s Do Division Street Fest.) Their latest album Detroit House Guests (yes, they’re from Detroit) is full of eponymous “house guests” such as Lun*na Menoh, Shannon Funchess (of electronic duo Light Asylum), and Austrian thereminist Dorit Chrystler — and you better bet there’s some serious theremin action on these bangers. “Enter the Fray” is a haunted house of synthesized dread and fear, while “They’re Just Words” is much more for those who want to bob their heads and move their bodies in weird positions.
