Eagles of Death Metal will never escape its instant association with the unspeakably horrific Bataclan massacre, but that doesn’t mean they don’t still want to have fun. The high-flying collaboration of Jesse Hughes and Queens of the Stone Age’s Josh Homme is of course not a death metal band but, misnomer aside, they continue to rock just as hard. Released in late 2015, their fourth LP Zipper Down’s album art is a topless woman unzipping a leather jacket and Hughes’ and Homme’s faces covering the left and right nipples, respectively — that is literally all you need to know. However, if you do want to know more, know that “Got a Woman” is a raucous party anthem filled with their trademark dystopian desert guitar fury and balls-to-the-wall testosterone-fueled bravado.
