In November, Grace released Tranny, an unflinching memoir detailing not only her band’s rise to stardom but also her own struggles with gender dysphoria that she braved to become the woman she is today. The book highlights Grace’s ability to get deep and personal, and her sold-out City Winery show seems to promise the same sort of acoustic intimacy.
