Now that everyone’s settled down after the massive attack RTJ2 had on all of our playlists over the past few years, Run the Jewels has scared us into submission once again with the equally banging follow-up RTJ3. Killer Mike and El-P are going on a “Run The World” worldwide tour for the album and are kind enough to stop at several festivals along the way including Lollapalooza. Known to bring hot topics to the table, Run The Jewels are a creative and honest duo who have no problem calling out corrupt cops, government policies, or false prophets while also famously loving Bernie Sanders the whole way. Their past work has featured collaborations with Rage Against the Machine’s Zach de la Rocha and they’ve recently taken a photo with Big Boi and Andre 3000 from Outkast, which is a collaboration the world definitely needs to hear right about now.
