What happens when an indie rock old timer builds a new sound that includes backups from bands like Spoon, Superchunk and Wilco? Music aficionados are graced with a power pop super-band called Split Single. Chicago’s own Jason Narducy fronts Split Single and has played with some of the greatest rockers of our time. In 2014, he actualized his own band that presents with tight melodies, catchy vocals and crisp guitar. Narducy captures the essence of power pop by writing songs that conjure the roots and spirit of the oft-misunderstood subgenre.
