The Tossers, self-proclaimed as “The World’s Loudest Folk Band,” are making their way up from the far South Side of Chicago to the North Side to play Metro this St. Patrick’s Day. Watch these South Side Irish folks tear through the latest songs off their new album Smash the Windows, released from Chicago’s very own Victory Records. The mixing of traditional Celtic and Irish themes with more contemporary raging punk is all too irresistible, as demonstrated on songs like “Erin Go Bragh,” a fast-paced green beer-chugging jaunt that’ll make everyone in Chicago believe they’re Irish on St. Patrick’s Day. Not that they don’t pretend to be anyway.
