Like a lot of bands, these Mississippi rockers met in high school. And the Jackson quartet wasted no time in touring and signed with indie label Esperanza Plantation to release their 2008 debut, Comeback Cadillac. The band’s straight-up rock and roll vibe gained the attention of Kings of Leon, eventually earning The Weeks a spot on Kings of Leon’s label Snakes and Serpents and a nod on KOL’s European stadium tour. The latest single from The Weeks, “Talk Like That”, is an energetic anthem that makes you want to (for lack of a better term) rock. And the band’s ferocious live shows prove that it will not take weeks for you to become a fan.
