Why? may be an acquired taste for some. (For the longest time, the only thing I knew of them was from a friend who described them as “really weird.”) However, their fanbase is loyal and diehard, and it’s been that way for over a decade. They’re hip hop, they’re folk, they’re rock, and their fresh track “Proactive Evolution” off new album Moh Lhean is a wave of looking back and reflecting on the negative…but then looking forward and attempting to find the positivity that lies ahead. Don’t ask why. The answer is obvious.
