Tracks called “Stabbed in the Face”, “Dead Hill” and “Choking Flies” give you a pretty good indication of what to expect from longtime Detroit-based noise rockers Wolf Eyes. The innovative threesome brings raucous post-industrial noise to audiences that are stockpiled with the Rock City’s hardnosed attitude. Each track is haunting in its own right and brings forth thoughts of the underworld and the dark side of humanity that all humans possess but rarely contemplate. Depending on your mood (or theirs), their music can be almost atmospheric and enlightening or it might conjure nightmares of evil snacks slithering after you as you’re trying to escape up a clock tower (or maybe that’s just us). Either way, the band delivers thought-provoking and body-shattering music in truly sinister fashion.
