What do you think of when you think of “woods?” Trees and poison ivy, maybe, but you should really be thinking of Woods, the veteran Brooklyn-based indie folk rock band of affable oddballs. You should also be excited because they released a new EP this year, Love Is Love, and you’ll hear it all at the Empty Bottle. The title track is a smooth bluesy jam while they also have a few instrumentals like “Spring Is in the Air” for the psychedelic-minded out there. Meanwhile, “Lost in a Crowd” feels clean and breezy like a simple summer day riding your bike down The 606.
