Chicagoans always hope that April will bring with it warm sunshine, but don’t freak out if all it brings is the usual assortment of cold rain and grey skies. Instead, grab a cold drink while listening to the cool folk tunes of Hurry For The Riff Raff and everything will be okay. Released on March 10, The Navigator features a more energized drive if its first two songs are any indication. “Rican Beach” showcase a more tropical feel than HFTRR’s previous works, not to mention a subtle political slant as well. In the meantime, “Hungry Ghost” is a marvel of empowerment with an uplifting message of taking on something bigger.
